Tower Theatre Amateur Dramatic Company presents Sailor, Beware! by Philip King and Falkland Caryat the Bridewell Theatre, central London from 20 to 24 January 2015.

Directed by Phillip Ley, this comedy follows Emma Hornett, a domestic tyrant, domineering, house-proud, self-righteous to a fault, who continuously bullies her ferret-fancier husband Henry and his live-in spinster sister, Edie. She is not amused when her precious daughter Shirley chooses orphan sailor Albert Tufnell as a prospective husband and soon sparks begin to fly...

The cast for the production includes Sue Brodie (Edie Hornett), Jessica Hammett (Emma Hornett), Janet South (Mrs Lack), Michael Bettell (Henry Hornett), Sebastian Chrispin (Albert Tufnell A.B.), Neil Streete (Carnoustie Bligh A.B), Angharad Ormond (Daphne Pink), Ruth Anthony (Shirley Hornett) and Colin Guthrie (Reverend Oliver Purefoy).

The Tower Theatre Company are the only full-time, non-professional company in central London and stages up to 18 productions a year. They were founded in 1932 and have over 700 members who "get involved for the sheer love of it".
