Orwell - A Celebration, adapted for the stage by Telegraph critic Dominic Cavendish, opens 11 June 2009, following previews from 8 June - running to 4 July 2009. Produced by Doublethink Theatre and The Fish Partnership . A theatrical celebration of George Orwell, marking the 60th and 70th anniversaries of Nineteen Eighty-Four and Coming Up For Air. Coming up for Air displays Orwell’s great gift for comic writing and grasp of middle-class fears at a time of economic and political crisis. The evening also features excerpts from Nineteen Eighty-Four alongside other Orwell works.

Eight, by Ella Hickson, opens 8 July 2009, following previews from 6 July - running to 25 July 2009. Produced by Tantrums Productions. You chose your company; select four from eight captivating monologues that offer a group-portrait of Britain’s youth.
