Treasure Island to close early 10 Jan 2009.

Treasure Island, has posted early closing notices for 10 Jan 2009 at the Haymarlet Theatre. (It was originally taking bookings to 28 Feb 2009!).

The show opened at the Haymarket Theatre 17 Nov 2008, following previews from 7 Nov, to luke-warm notices from the popular press: THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Underwhelming." THE INDEPENDENT says, "Sean Holmes's impressive production lacks only laughter and nuttiness." THE TIMES says, " Uneven revival." THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, "A racy, pacy, tough-as-old-boots adaptation...A bona fide festive treat."
