The production will be directed by Darren R L Gordon and the cast includes two actors from ITV's long-runnng soap 'Emmerdale': Jamie Shelton (Robbie Lawson) and Chelsea Halfpenny (Amy Wyatt). Produced by Paul Virides for Shrapnel Theatre and Hartshorn - Hook Productions.
The play is described as "a playful, confessional and moving account of human relationships in the heart of their community - the pub."
Two first premiered at the Bolton Octagon in 1989 before transferring to London in 1990. The play was written for former 'Brookside' actors Sue Johnston and John McArdle and the original production went on to win the Manchester Evening News theatre award for Best New Play in 1990.
