Aria Entertainment have announced two new productions at Upstairs at the Gatehouse Theatre in Highgate, north London, this September.

The first production will be a return for The Jewish Legends which runs from 1 to 12 September 2015, with an official opening on 2 September 2015.

"Why did American Jews find such success in the world of entertainment? Because they arrived in America in the late nineteenth century with nothing but a gift to peddle. And what better to peddle than a song, a dance or a comic routine."

The production explores a century of song, dance and comedy with a nod to some legendary performers such as Streisand, Jolson, Midler, Sophie Tucker, Fanny Brice and Groucho Marx.

The second production will be Bette Midler and Me which runs from 16 to 27 September 2015.

The show stars Sue Kelvin who covers the life and songs of the divine Miss M from the perspective of a life-long fan. It will be directed by Paul Foster with musical direction by Sarah Travis.

Tickets for both productions are now on sale.
