Tyrone Huntley and Clare Halse join full cast of Hello, Dolly! In the West End

Full casting has been announced for the West End production of Hello, Dolly!, which is set to open at the Adelphi Theatre this summer.

Olivier Award winner Dominic Cooke will direct the classic Broadway musical about a matchmaker who arrives in New York, and sets her sights on finding herself a partner. It features Jerry Herman's classic score which includes the numbers "Put On Your Sunday Clothes", "Before the Parade Passes By", "It Only Takes a Moment" and "Hello, Dolly!".

Joining the previously announced Imelda Staunton, Jenna Russell, and Andy Nyman will by Tyrone Huntley, Clare Halse, and Harry Hepple.

Huntley, known for his acclaimed performance in Jesus Christ Superstar at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, will play Barnaby Tucker, and Clare Halse, who led the cast of the West End production of 42nd Street, will play Minnie Fay. Hepple, who recently appeared in Cooke's production of Follies at the National Theatre, will play Cornelius Hackl.

The full cast also includes Craig Armstrong, Gemma Atkins, Jenni Bowden, Alan Bradshaw, Natalie Chua, Joshua Clemetson, Brendan Cull, Bessy Ewa, Isaac Gryn, Ashlee Irish, Jodie Jacobs, Paul Kemble, Emily Langham, Amira Matthews, Sarah Marie Maxwell, Laura Medforth, Matt Overfield, Angelo Paragoso, Tom Partridge, Wendy Lee Purdy, Edwin Ray, Phil Snowden, Bree Smith, Christine Tucker, Gavin Wilkinson, and Liam Wrate.

Hello, Dolly! will run at the Adelphi Theatre for a limited run from 11th August, with tickets on sale now.

The production will reunite director Cooke with leading lady Staunton following their work together on Follies, while it also sees Staunton working with once again with Michael Harrison and David Ian, who produced Gypsy in the West End.
