Uncle Vanya returns to The Print Room 18 June.

Uncle Vanya, starring Iain Glen & Charlotte Emmerson, returns to The Print Room, a fringe venue in west London, from 18 June 2012 -7 July 2012.

Written by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Mike Poulton, the play was sold out at The Print Room, from 21 Mar 2012 - 28 Apr 2012.

It is directed by Lucy Bailey, design by William Dudley, lighting by Richard Howell, sound by Gregory Clark.

The original cast return: Iain Glen (Vanya), Charlotte Emmerson (Sonya), Marlene Sidaway, William Houston , David Yelland , David Shaw-Parker, Caroline Blakiston , Lucinda Millward , Andrew Hanratty.

Uncle Vanya finds an elderly Professor and his glamorous wife visiting a rural estate that supports their urban lifestyle. Vanya an Astrov fall for Elena and Sonya (the Professor's daughter) meanwhile suffers from the awareness of her own lack of beauty and from her unrequited feelings for Dr. Astrov. Matters are brought to a crisis when the Professor announces his intention to sell the estate, Vanya and Sonya's home and raison d'etre, with a view to investing the proceeds to achieve a higher income for himself and his wife.
