The Broadway production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, will transfer to the West End opening 31 Jan 2006, following previews 20 Jan 2006 - booking to 13 May 2006.

The original Broadway cast transfer with the show: Kathleen Turner (Martha ), Bill Irwin (George), David Harbour, Mireille Enos.

Kathleen Turner was last on the West End stage in "The Graduate" at the Gielgud in 2000 - making her West End debut

Directed by Anthony Page, and produced by Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer for Nimax, Jenny Topper, Lee Dean and Ian Osborne.

When new biology professor Nick and his wife Honey arrive at the home of jaded history professor George and his sharp-tongued wife Martha, they get more than just a night-cap. Verbal sparring par excellence takes a very nasty turn as the couples descend into alcohol-fuelled arguments and character assassinations.
