Cuba Gooding Jnr interview – ‘Chicago is an experience you’ll never forget’

Star of Kander and Ebb's Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre, Cuba Gooding Jnr makes his West End and musical theatre debuts in the show, and he says the show will offer theatregoers an experience they'll never forget.

The Academy Award winner, whose films include Boyz n the Hood and Jerry Maguire, plays slick lawyer Billy Flynn who is tasked with defending murder suspects Roxie and Velma. His big numbers in the musical include "All I Care About" and "We Both Reached for the Gun".

Gooding stars alongside Ruthie Henshall, Sarah Soetaert and Josefina Gabrielle at the Phoenix Theatre until 30th June, and the production is booking until 6th October.
