Cliched / Mind the Gap (Double Bill) An evening of two shows, the contemporary dance company Sebastian Rex Dance Group will perform ‘Cliched’, and the theatre company, Acting Like Mad, will perform a short new play, ‘Mind The Gap’. ‘Clichéd’, inspired by the word’s meaning of an overused expression or idea, explores what happens when cliches are stripped of their meaning and are given new ones. ‘Mind The Gap’ is a playful exploration of story-telling. Four young friends sit, talk, sleep with each other and play games and tell stories in short staccato dialogue; their backgrounds are presented to the audience as the opposite to an explanation of their motives…
