CAPRICE CAST IN "RENT"

It has been reported that Caprice has been cast in the musical Rent by Jonathan Larson, which returns to the Prince of Wales Theatre from 6 Dec 02 to 1 Mar 03.

The model-turned-singer, has acted on stage before in "The Vagina Monologues" at the Arts Theatre in Feb 02, but this will be her first time in a musical. Caprice said: "I'm really excited about Rent and it's my favourite musical. Ever since I saw it for the first time I've wanted a part in it and now my dream has come true."

Full casting will be announced in a few days.

"RENT", first arrived in London at the Shaftesbury Theatre in April 1998, where it played to Oct 1999. It then went on a UK tour before transferring to the Prince of Wales theatre last Dec 2001 to 26 Jan 02.

Inspired by Puccini's 'La Boheme', 'Rent' is a joyous and turbulent musical that celebrates a community of young East Villages as they struggle with the soaring hopes and tough realities of today's New York.
