Colour us stoked! Heathers the Musical, which is returning to London this summer, has announced most of its company – with one tantalising exception. Casting for Veronica Sawyer will be revealed on Sunday 21 June at 2:55pm at West End Live. Heathers is playing at London’s newest theatre, the Arts at Marble Arch, from 9 July to 22 August, ahead of a UK and Ireland tour.

Louis Hearsey (I Was a Teenage She-Devil) will star as mysterious bad boy Jason ‘J.D.’ Dean, alongside the titular trio of Heathers: Liberty Stottor (SIX) as queen bee Heather Chandler, Jessica Ibadin, making her professional debut, as Heather Duke, and Lou Henry (SIX) playing Heather McNamara.

The cast also features Veronica Carabai (Black Power Desk) as Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom, Sophie Manners (professional debut) as Martha Dunnstock, Markus Södergren (Here and Now – The Steps Musical) as Kurt Kelly, Beau Jackson (professional debut) as Ram Sweeney, Reuben Browne (School of Rock) as Kurt's Dad/Veronica's Dad/Principal Gowan, with Christian De-Gallerie (Midnight) as Preppy Stud/Officer, Ellouise Delooze (The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical) as New Wave Party Girl, Caitlin Garcia (West End debut) as Drama Club Drama Queen, Alexander Howarth (West End debut) as Hipster Dork, Charlotte O’Rourke (Cruel Intentions The Musical) as Midwestern Surfer Punk, Thomas Oxley (Bonnie & Clyde) as Beleaguered Geek, Tola Sokoya (We Will Rock You) as Young Republicanette, and Carys Taylor (professional debut) as Stoner Chick.

Heathers the Musical is back in London for 52 performances only, and is the opening show at the Arts at Marble Arch, which is situated next to one of the capital's most iconic landmarks, Marble Arch. The show was last seen in the West End in 2024.

Based on the 1989 cult film, starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers sees new Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer be adopted by three beautiful and impossibly cruel girls: the Heathers. However, there are devastating consequences when her popularity dreams come true – and rebellious newcomer J.D. leads her down a dark and murderous path.

Heathers the Musical is directed by acclaimed American screen and stage director Andy Fickman, with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Dan Samson, and musical supervision by Jeremy Wootton and Will Joy. It is produced by Bill Kenwright Ltd and Paul Taylor-Mills.
