Caroline Quentin to join cast of Pippin at Chocolate Factory.

It has been announced that Louise Gold & Caroline Quentin are the first actresses to play 'Berthe' in Pippin which is at the Menier Chocolate Factory, south London from 22 Nov 2011 - 25 Feb 2012. Louise Gold will play Berthe from 22 Nov 2011 to 8 Jan 2012; and Caroline Quentin takes over the role from the 10th to 22nd January. (News about other actresses to play the role will be released at a later date.)

Caroline Quentin is best known on TV as Maddie in the first three series of Jonathan Creek for the BBC. She has also appeared in five series of Blue Murder for ITV and three series of Life Begins. Caroline currently stars in the third series of BBC1's Life of Riley.

Cast also includes Harry Hepple (Pippin), Ian Kelsey (Charlemagne), Matt Rawle (Leading Player), Frances Ruffelle (Fastrada), Carly Bawden (Catherine), Stuart Neal (Theo), David Page (Lewis), Ben Bunce, Bob Harms, Holly James, Anabel Kutay, David McMullan and Kate Tydman.
