The cast has been revealed for the world premiere of Sam Grabiner’s Christmas Day, which begins performances at the Almeida Theatre on 9 December, running until 8 January 2026.
James Macdonald (Infinite Life, The Children) will direct Jamie Ankrah, Samuel Blenkin, Callie Cooke, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Nigel Lindsay, and Bel Powley in this funny new play about identity, belonging, and the rituals we perform with the people we love.
The creative team also includes Set Designer Miriam Buether, Costume Designer Evie Gurney, Lighting Designer Jon Clark, Sound Designer Max Pappenheim, Intimacy Director Lucy Hind, and Voice Coach Hazel Holder.
Set in an abandoned building above the Northern Line, Christmas Day centres on a Jewish family who gather on Christmas Day.
