Cast Update for Anne Boleyn at Globe Theatre

Miranda Raison revives her performance of Anne Boleyn, which opens at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, 15 Jul 2011, following previews from 8 July - running to 21 Aug 2011.

Miranda Raison, who performed Anne Boleyn at Shakespeare’s Globe last year, is best known for her role as Jo Portman in the BBC drama "Spooks" and as Abbey in ITV’s Married Single Other.

Miranda will be joined by a number of the 2010 cast including Anthony Howell as Henry VIII and James Garnon as James I. The cast announced so far also includes Michael Bertenshaw, Sam Cox, John Cummins, Naomi Cranston, Ben Deery, Mary Doherty, Sophie Duval, Will Featherstone, Peter Hamilton Dyer, Colin Hurley, Dickon Tyrrell.

It is again directed by John Dove and designed by Michael Taylor.

Dramatises the life and legacy of Henry VIII’s notorious second wife – exploring both her passion for the King and her love of the most dangerous ideas of her day.
