Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Booking Extension

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Musical, which is based on Roald Dahl's classic story, has extended its booking period by seven months to 4 June 2016, at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The show officially opened on 25 June 2013, following previews from 22 May 2013, and received mainly positive reviews, with critics praising the adaptation by David Grieg, as well as the scenic design and special effects: "Delivers visual ravishment and a warm glow" (Financial Times), "it's a tremendously inventive show" (Evening Standard).

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Musical has book by David Greig and new songs from Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Designs & costumes by Mark Thompson, choreography by Peter Darling, lighting by Paul Pyant, sound by Paul Arditti.

It is produced by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Neal Street Productions and Kevin McCormick. Besterman (orchestrations); Nicholas Skilbeck (Music Director), Jon Driscoll (Video and Projection Designer).
