All aboard the Ship of Dreams! Comedian Tom Allen will join the cast of Titanique for a limited six-week run, beginning performances at the Criterion Theatre from 4 March through 12 April.

The podcaster and stand-up comedian will play Ruth. He said: “I saw this show when it first opened and I loved it so much I had to see it again almost immediately. The laughs and camp spoofing are addictive and exactly what the world needs right now. I am beyond honoured to be joining this extremely talented cast and can't wait to come aboard for my life boat drill! ...wait, they do have enough lifeboats right?”

Also in the cast are Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) as Jack, Richard Carson (Les Misérables) as Cal, Ryan Carter (Bat Out Of Hell) as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith (13 Going on 30) as Rose, Astrid Harris (Titaníque, Paris) as Céline Dion, Carl Mullaney (La Cage Aux Folles) as Ruth, Michael Vinsen (The Book of Mormon) as Victor Garber / Luigi, and Charlotte Wakefield (Spring Awakening) as Molly Brown.

Completing the company are on-stage background vocalists Corrine Priest, Madison Swan, and Damien Winchester, offstage understudies Freddie King and Caitlin Tipping, and standby David Ouch.

Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli's musical tells the story of Titanic — but from Celine Dion's perspective. The show includes songs from her back catalogue including "My Heart Will Go On", "All by Myself", and "To Love You More".
