Denial by Arnold Wesker at King's Head Theatre

Denial, by Arnold Wesker, directed by Adam Spreadbury-Maher, at the King's Head Pub Theatre, a fringe venue in Angel, north London, from 15 May to 9 June 2012.

A play about false memory syndrome. At what point does natural physical affection between parent and child become something more sinister? And if an adult suddenly 'remembers' that a loved parent abused them years earlier, can the memory be trusted?

This drama will play in repertoire with Arnold Wesker & Robert Saxton's opera Caritas.

Also announced as coming at the King's Head in April 2013, The Wesker Trilogy: Revisited. All three plays intertwined with new material in one evening. A new stage adaptation of Weskers unproduced film script of his trilogy Chicken Soup With Barley, Roots and I'm Talking About Jerusalem.
