The musical opened at the Savoy Theatre 27 June 2009, following previews from 22 July, to moderate notices from the popular press: THE GUARDIAN says, " Inoffensive and as squeaky clean as a toothpaste advert." It is written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, inspired by the album, Dreamboats and Petticoats. Directed by Bob Tomson with choreography by Carole Todd
