Exposure The Musical - Life Through A Lens at St James

Camera Theatre Productions Ltd present the world premiere of new musical, Exposure The Musical - Life Through A Lens, at the St James Theatre in Victoria, from 16 July to 27 August 2016, with an official opening on 28 July.

The production will be directed by Phil Willmott, with set and video design by Timothy Bird, lighting by Ben Cracknell, costume by Carla Goodman, sound by Ben Harrison and musical direction by Mark Collins.

Synopsis: "Young photographer Jimmy Tucker faces the biggest and most exciting challenge of his life when a stranger commissions him to find and shoot the seven deadly sins alive and kicking in modern London. But in a break-neck race through the night, a series of extraordinary encounters involving girlfriends, family history and the intoxicating cult of celebrity begin to reveal that there's a whole lot more at stake than just money."

Exposure The Musical - Life Through A Lens features book by Mike Dyer, with Quentin Russell as script consultant and dramaturgy by Phil Willmott. Music and lyrics are co-written by Mike Dyer, Philip Cohen, Vince Hudson, Fred Johanson, Clayton Moss, Sara Eker Peller, Mark Street and Adrian Wyatt.

The show has a unique partnership with Getty Images, and includes imagery from the world famous picture collection. Vice President of Getty Images Archive, Matthew Butson, said of the partnership: "Imagery is the universal language of our time and Getty Images believes that pictures have the power to move the world. We are thrilled to partner with Exposure and we are extremely excited at the prospect of our imagery being used - both creatively and innovatively - within a theatrical setting."
