Fame the Musical to transfer to Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre

After entertaining audiences at the Peacock Theatre as part of the 30th anniversary production of Fame, the musical will transfer to the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.

Based on the 1980 film of the same name, Fame follows a group of performing arts students at a prestigious high school in New York as they search for stardom. The musical features songs including 'I Want to Make Magic', 'Think of Meryl Streep' and 'Fame'.

Fame will be staged at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre for a limited engagement from 21st December to 26th January.

Casting for Fame at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre is to be announced. The cast of Fame at the Peacock Theatre starred Mica Paris as Miss Sherman, Keith Jack as Nick Piazza and Jorgie Porter as Iris Kelly. The cast was completed by Jamal Kane Crawford, Molly McGuire, Stephanie Rojas, Albey Brookes, Hayley Johnston, Simon Anthony, Alexander Zane, Louisa Beadel, Katie Warsop, Spencer Lee Osborne, Duncan Smith, Morgan Jackson, Tom Mussell, Ryan Kayode, Serina Mathews, Courtney George, Daisy Edwards, Lauren Crooks and Jay Le Marrec.

The hit musical was first performed in the West End in 1995, with the 30th anniversary production marking its eighth revival in London.

The Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre is currently home to the National Theatre touring production of War Horse.

Fame is at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from 21st December to 26th January.
