Former Eastenders star in Deadly Murder

cut to the chase... repertory company will present David Foley's thriller Deadly Murder at the Queen's Theatre Hornchurch, in the London Borough of Havering, from 30 January to 21 February 2015, with an official opening on 2 February 2015.

The cast for the production includes former 'Eastenders' actress Lucy Benjamin playing the role of Camille Dargus, together with cut to the chase... repertory company members Sam Pay (Ted) and Tom Oliver Cornish (Billy). The play will be directed Simon Jessop.

Synoposis: "Camille Dargus has worked her way up from humble beginnings to a glittering Manhattan lifestyle. She has brains, beauty and a successful career as a jewellery designer for the leading lights of New York. She also has a penchant for attractive young men. One night at a society gala, she meets Billy, a handsome waiter, and brings him back to her loft apartment. There's more to Billy than meets the eye, however, and Camille summons her security guard Ted to get him out. But suddenly, she finds herself held hostage by a man who seems frighteningly familiar with the past she has struggled to forget. Over the course of one explosive night, Camille must use all her wits and cunning to save her life - and to prevent the dark secrets of her past from destroying everything."

Lucy Benjamin played the role of Lisa Fowler in 'Eastenders' for five years. Other television credits include 'The Detectorists', 'Holby City' and 'Kingdom'. Lucy's stage credits include the national tour of 'Hairspray'.
