Further casting has been announced for the West End premiere of new British musical The Go Between which will open for previews at the Apollo Theatre in London on 27 May 2016, with an official opening on 7 June 2016.

The Go Between recounts the story of an elderly man, Leo Colston, who accidentally unlocks the memories of his past which he had long ago left buried. Memories of the oppressively hot summer of 1900 and of his days spent in Norfolk come flooding back. Spending the holidays with the family of his school friend Marcus, the young Leo is unwittingly enlisted into an adult affair of deceit and forbidden passion. Acting as the go-between for the beautiful, upper-class Marian and tenant-farmer Ted, Leo becomes embroiled in a doomed love affair which will shape his life forever.

Gemma Sutton most recently starred in the Olivier-winning revival of 'Gypsy' at the Savoy Theatre where she originated the role of June and went on to take over the role of Louise for the final weeks of the production. Other London credits include 'Carousel' at the Arcola Theatre, 'Gone With the Wind' and 'Imagine This' at the New London Theatre and 'The Boyfriend' at the Regent's Park Open Air.

Stuart Ward recently played the role of 'Guy' in 'Once the Musical' on US tour and at the Phoenix Theatre in London. He previously starred in 'The Go Between' at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

The production will be directed by Roger Haines, with full cast and creatives to be announced.
