Further cast joining Pinter at the Pinter season announced

Further casting has been announced for the star-studded Pinter at the Pinter season; Jamie Lloyd's season of Harold Pinter's one-act plays at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

Joining Keith Allen, Lee Evans, Tamsin Greig and Meera Syal in Pinter Three (Landscape/A Kind of Alaska and Monologue) will be Tom Edden (One Man, Two Guvnors).

Jessica Barden will be joined in Pinter Four (Moonlight and Night School) by Bríd Brennan, Janie Dee, Robert Glenister, Isis Hainsworth, Peter Polycarpou, Dwane Walcott and Al Weaver. The plays are directed by Lyndsey Turner and Ed Stambollouian, and the latter's production will feature live onstage drumming from Abbie Finn.

Katherine Kingsley and Eleanor Matsuura will complete the cast of Pinter Six (Party Time and Celebration), which also stars the like of Celia Imrie, Tracy-Ann Oberman and John Simm.

John Heffernan, recently seen starring in the National Theatre production of Saint George and the Dragon, will join Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer in Pinter Seven. He will lead A Slight Ache as Edward.

The Pinter at the Pinter season recently got underway in the West End with Pinter One, starring Paada Essiedu, Kate O'Flynn and Antony Sher performing in One For The Road, The New World Order, Mountain Language, Ashes to Ashes. There is also a performance of a new, unseen play, The Pres and the Officer, which features Jon Culshaw appearing as a presidential figure.

It plays in rep with Pinter Two, which sees David Suchet and Russell Tovey in The Lover and the Collection.

The season has been pulled together by Jamie Lloyd, and is set to commemorate ten years since the death of one of Britain's most influential playwrights.
