Glengarry Glen Ross press night delayed by 2 days

Anthony Flanagan has withdrawn from Glengarry Glen Ross, for "personal reasons". The part of 'John Williamson' is now played by Peter McDonald - press night has been delayed 2 days and will now take place Friday 12 Oct 2007.

The rest of the cast remains unchanged: Jonathan Pryce (Shelly Levene), Aidan Gillen (Richard Roma), Paul Freeman (George Aaronow), Matthew Marsh (Dave Moss), Tom Smith (James Lingk), Shane Attwooll (Baylen).

The show started previews at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, on 27 Sep 2007 and is currently taking bookings to 12 Jan 2008

It is directed by James Macdonald, designed by Anthony Ward with lighting by Howard Harrison, and produced by Mark Rubinstein, Ron Kastner, Patrick Myles, Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Jam Theatricals.

Set in an office of cut-throat Chicago salesmen. Pitched in competition against each other, they will do anything, legal or otherwise, to sell the most real estate. In this world of high stakes and hard sell, the mantra is simple: close the deal and you've won a Cadillac; blow the lead and you're f***d.
