Handbagged by Moira Buffini transfers to Vaudeville

Handbagged by Moira Buffini, transfers from The Tricycle theatre, to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre opening 10 April 2014, following previews from 3 April - booking to 2 Aug 2014.

Transferring with the production are Marion Bailey (Queen Elizabeth II), Stella Gonet (Margaret Thatcher), Neet Mohan, Jeff Rawle, Fenella Woolgar, with Lucy Robinson taking over from Clare Holman.

The play, directed by Indhu Rubasingham, had a sold out run at the Tricycle theatre, a 230 seat venue in Kilburn, north London from 26 Sep 2013 to 16 Nov 2013.

It is designed by Richard Kent, lighting by Oliver Fenwick, sound by Carolyn Downing, produced by Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Tricycle London Productions.

The monarch Liz.. Her most powerful subject Maggie. Handbags, hairspray and sensible shoes. One believed there was no such thing as society. The other had vowed to serve it.
