Happy Days extends to 8 March 2014 at Young Vic

Happy Days by Samuel Beckett, which opens at the Young Vic Theatre on 30 Jan 2014, following previews from 23 Jan, has extended by two weeks and is now running to 8 March 2014.

Directed by Natalie Abrahami, design by Vicki Mortimer, lighting by Paule Constable, sound by Tom Gibbons. Juliet Stevenson plays 'Winnie' in her Young Vic debut, alongside David Beames as 'Willie.'

For Winnie, day and night are no more, the hours of waking and sleeping are signified by the ringing of a bell, and so it is that Winnie confronts her existential despair with absurd diversions and distractions, lurches of optimism and fragments of memories.
