Harriet Thorpe joins cast of Mamma Mia! 14 June 2010
Harriet Thorpe's recent London stage credits include "Wicked" at the Apollo Victoria in 2008 and "Cabaret" at the Lyric in 2007. Her tv credits include the BBC’s comedy series The Brittas Empire; Girls on Top; French & Saunders; Absolutely Fabulous.
Also joining the cast are Catherine Russell (Rosie), Joshua Sasse (Sky), Nicola Hawkins (Ali), Nicky Griffiths (Lisa), Alex Jessop (Pepper), Paul-Michael Jones (Eddie).
The show continues to feature Linzi Hateley (Donna Sheridan), Jessie May (Sophie Sheridan), Norman Bowman (Sam Carmichael), Paul Ryan (Harry Bright), Christopher Hollis (Bill Austin).
Based on the songs of ABBA, Mamma Mia! opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6th April 1999, following previews from 23rd March 1999. It transferred to the Prince of Wales theatre on 3 June 2004.

A film adaptation of the stage show was released in 2008 titled "Mamma Mia! The Movie".
A story of a mother and daughter set on the eve of the daughter's wedding, the musical has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and book by y Catherine Johnson.
It is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
It is choreographed by Anthony Van Laast and directed by Phyllida Lloyd.
