Hecuba by Lazarus Theatre at New Diorama in August 2010

Lazarus Theatre Company presents Hecuba, by Euripides, at the New Diorama Theatre, near Euston, north London, from 10 to 28 Aug 2010.

Directed by Ricky Dukes, the production is part of the annual Camden Fringe Festival.

Once Queen of Troy, Hecuba mother to her country is mechanically tortured and destroyed by the invading captors, Her only hope is Her life, Her Love and Her people.This heroic and passionate play will be played by an ensemble of twenty actors using movement, music, song and text to portray a fallen Troy, a destroyed Queen and a dammed society.
