Henry IV cast update at Globe includes Roger Allam

Cast update Henry IV Part 1 & Henry IV Part 2, by William Shakespeare, in repertoire at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre from 6 June - 3 Oct 2010.

Joining previously mentioned Jamie Parker (Prince Hal) and William Gaunt ( Worcester/ Shallow), are Roger Allam (Falstaff), Oliver Cotton (Henry IV), Christopher Godwin, Sean Kearns, Paul Rider , Jade Williams.

Both Plays are directed by Dominic Dromgoole.

Roger Allam's London stage credits include: "La Cage Aux Folles" at he Playhouse in 2009; "Afterlife" at the Lyttelton, NT in 2008; "Boeing Boeing" at the Comedy in 2007; "Blackbird" at the Albery in 2006; "Aladdin" at the Old Vic at Xmas 2004; "Democracy" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2003 and Lyttelton & Wyndham's in 2004; "What the Night is For" at the Comedy in 2002; "Money" at the Olivier, NT in 1999; "The Learned Ladies" & "Macbeth" for the RSC at the Barbican in 1996.

HENRY IV PART 1: Bolingbroke fights to keep his crown and restore order to an England driven by civil rebellion.

HENRY IV PART 2,: The Prince's riotous life is interrupted, as a second insurrection is deftly if ignobly crushed.
