‘Hope has a Happy Meal’ sets full cast at Royal Court

Tom Fowler’s play will run at the central London venue this summer. The play follows Hope as she travels across the fictional People’s Republic of Koka Kola.

Find out the full cast for Tom Fowler’s Hope has a Happy Meal at the Royal Court. Previews begin on 3 June, with an opening night on 9 June, and performances to 8 July.

Hope has a Happy Meal is set in the People’s Republic of Koka Kola — a hyper-corporate world fuelled by corruption. One day, Hope disappeared. But now, shes back to find something she left behind. As she navigates a capitalistic country, Hope must save herself and the future.

Lucy Morrison directs Laura Checkley, Mary Malone, Amaka Okafor, Felix Scott, and Nima Taleghani.

Hope has a Happy Meal is designed by Naomi Dawson, with lighting design by Anna Watson, sound design by Annie May Fletcher, and movement direction by Jonnie Riordan.
