Actor Hugh Jackman is set to embark on a solo world tour in 2019, including two dates at London's O2 Arena in June.

Jackman will perform songs from the hit 2017 film The Greatest Showman, in which he starred as a performer PT Barnum, as well as Broadway shows such as Les Miserables, accompanied by a live orchestra.

While the Australian is best-known for his roles on-screen such as Wolverine in the X-Men series and Van Helsing, Jackman cut his teeth on stage. He starred in a 1998 production of Oklahoma! at the National Theatre, and won a Tony Award for his leading role as Peter Allen in the musical The Boy from Oz.

His other stage credits include a Broadway run of A Steady Rain alongside Daniel Craig in 2009, and a one-man show in San Francisco in 2011. He later performed a new show, titled Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway later that year. Jackman also played Jean Valjean in the 2012 major motion picture adaptation of Les Miserables.

The new show - titled The Man. The Music. The Show. - will tour the world beginning in Hamburg in May before touring to Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, Ireland and the UK before going on to the US later in the summer.

It will run at The O2 Arena in London on 2nd and 3rd June.
