"IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST" EXPECTED BACK IN THE WEST END
Christopher Morahan's production of The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde, which had a run at the Haymarket earlier this year, is expected to return to the West End, this time at the Savoy Theatre on 17th Jan 01.
Since leaving the Haymarket in August, the play has been touring in Australia and New Zealand.
The show will return with only one member of the original cast, Patricia Routledge as 'Lady Bracknell'.
