The stage premiere of Interview will take place at London's Riverside Studios from 23 August, running until 27 September. The production is based on Theo van Gogh’s 2003 Dutch film about a journalist and a star going toe to toe in an interview.

Adapted and directed by Teunkie Van Der Sluijs, the show marks the first English-language staging of the story. It has previously been presented in several European versions.

The production will use multimedia elements to bring the characters’ digital interactions — messages, social media, and private moments — to life on stage. The show will be set over the course of one night.

The creative team includes scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Bernat Buscato, lighting designer Jackie Shemesh, sound designer Ata Güner, and projection design collective idontloveyouanymore (Anna West and Davi Callanan).
