It has been announced that Curtains will transfer to the West End as part of the show's national tour, opening at the Wyndham's Theatre in December.

Curtains is at the Wyndham's Theatre for a limited engagement from 13th December to 11th January.

Curtains follows the investigation of Jessica Cranshaw, a Broadway star who has been murdered on stage on opening night. With the cast and crew all made suspects, a detective named Frank Cioffi, who also loves musical theatre, is called in to solve the case.

Jason Manford plays the role of Frank Cioffi, with musical theatre credits including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Producers and a concert production of Guys and Dolls.

He is joined by Carley Stenson as Georgia Hendricks, who has starred in West End productions including Les Miserables and Legally Blonde. Andy Coxon plays Aaron Fox, with Rebecca Lock as Carmen Bernstein.

The cast is completed by Samuel Holmes, Leah Barbara West, Alan Burkitt, Martin Callaghan, Emma Caffrey, Nia Jermin, Adam Rhys-Charles, Mark Sangster, Minal Patel, Kate Ivory Jordan, Charlie Johnson, Gleanne Purcell-Brown, Thomas-Lee Kidd, Samuel John-Humphreys and J.R. Ballentyne.

First performed in 2006 in Los Angeles, Curtains received its Broadway premiere the following year, receiving eight Tony Award nominations including best musical. The musical features an original book by Rupert Holmes and Peter Stone, with music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb.

Curtains will play a limited engagement at the Wyndham's Theatre, following the previous announcement that The Man in the White Suit will close early, with a final performance on 7th December.

Curtains is at the Wyndham's Theatre from 13th December to 11th January.
