Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman Extends at the Gielgud Theatre

Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman extends to 6 January 2018.

The critically acclaimed new play from Jez Butterworth, directed by Sam Mendes has announced that it will be extending performances at the Gielgud Theatre to 6 Jan 2018. 

The play opened at the Royal Court where it became the fasted selling production in the venue's history.  

"Rural Derry, 1981. The Carney farmhouse is a hive of activity with preparations for the annual harvest. A day of hard work on the land and a traditional night of feasting and celebrations lie ahead. But this year they will be interrupted by a visitor..."

Full casting for the extension is still to be confirmed.
