Jodie Prenger joins the West End cast of Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre for the final two weeks before it closes on 12 Apr 2014.

Prenger returns to the role of The Lady of the Lake, taking over from Bonnie Langford. She has previously played the role in the 2010 UK tour, and has said she is "very much looking forward to treading the boards again, but this time in the glittery blue dress alongside the brilliant Spamalot cast at the Playhouse Theatre."

Jodie Prenger is best known for winning the BBC1 TV series I'd Do Anything in 2008 and playing the role of Nancy in 'Oliver!' in 2009 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. As well as previously playing The Lady of The Lake in 'Spamalot', she has also appeared in 'One Man, Two Guvnors' at Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Spamalot started its current West End run at the Harold Pinter Theatre in summer 2012 before moving to the Playhouse Theatre on 14 November 2012. The show concludes its West End run at the Playhouse on Saturday Apr 12 2014. Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', it features a book by Eric Idle and a score by Eric Idle and John Du Prez.
