Kristina Love to join 'Tina - The Tina Turner Musical'

Love previously played Tina Turner in Hamburg.

Kristina Love will join the West End company from 12 October, role-sharing Tina Turner with current cast member Elesha Paul Moses. Love previously played Tina Turner in the Hamburg production of Tina the Musical.

“After having met [Tina Turner] on my birthday in 2018, performing with her and receiving her blessing at the Hamburg opening, I count it a great honour to be entrusted with performing her life story. I am grateful to be continuing my Tina journey at the same time as making my West End debut,” said Love.

Caleb Roberts continues as Ike Turner, alongside Paula Kay as Zelma Bullock, Charis Alexandra as Alline Bullock, George Jennings as Roger Davies, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina’s Grandmother, Kelly Hampson as Rhonda Graam, Gregory Haney as Richard Bullock, Cordell Mosteller as Raymond Hill, Chris Grahamson as Phil Spector and Terry Britten and Joseph Richardson as Erwin Bach.

Based on Tina Turner's music career, Tina - The Tina Turner Musical follows the public and private life of Tenneessee-born Anna Mae Bullock as she transformed into the Queen of Rock and Roll.
