La Soirée returns to the West End in Leicester Square
Olivier Award-winning cabaret sensation La Soirée returns to London in a Spiegeltent in Leicester Square.
It has been announced that the Olivier Award-winning cabaret sensation La Soirée will return to the West End in a Spiegeltent in Leicester Square for a Winter season from 11 November 2016 to 8 January 2017.
Confirmed acts to take part in the new production include Ursula Martinez, The English Gents, Hamish McCann's pole act, Denis Lock's bubble act as well as a host of fresh and thrilling new talent yet to be announced.
The production will play at a specially created Spiegeltent in its new home in Leicester Square. The venue is described as "a velvet-draped salon of carved wood, polished mirrors, crystal and leadlight".
La Soirée has been seen in over 25 cities across five continents, with over 150 acts since the company first played together in Edinburgh back in 2004. Over 5.5 million people have now seen La Soirée perform across the globe, and London audiences will enjoy this fresh opportunity to see this unique performance cabaret throughout the Christmas run. Special plans for New Year's Eve will be announced in due course.
Producer Brett Haylock said of the news: "A little over ten years ago La Soiree, then known as La Clique, landed in London at the Hippodrome in Leicester Square. After a wonderful year we moved on and ever since the show has roamed London, setting up camp in a variety of places. Finally, however, we decided it was time to come home. So we are pitching a tent (literally) on the doorstep of our former base in the middle of Leicester Square and bringing our variety of twisted, saucy entertainment back to the centre of town! We can't wait. See you at Christmas."
La Soirée is presented by Brett Haylock, Mark Rubinstein and Mick Perrin. Tickets are on sale now
