Lights outside the Lyric theatre dimmed again tonight to mark the memorial service for Michael Jackson

Thriller Live, featuring the songs of Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5 at the Lyric Theatre, is to dim its lights again tonight (7 July) to mark the memorial service for Michael Jackson, who died Thu 25 June 2009 at the age of 50, plus the entire cast and band will all meet on stage to pay tribute with speeches and hold a minute's silence throughout the auditorium.

Thriller Live opened at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Ave, on 21 Jan 2009, following previews from 2 Jan 2009, to generally good notices from the popular press: THE GUARDIAN says, "It's cute, kicking and retro." THE INDEPENDENT says, "Immensely enjoyable. "

The show, originally conceived and created by Adrian Grant, is directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd, with additional choreography by LaVelle Smith Jnr and and Kerys Nathan.

Songs include 'I Want You Back', 'I'll Be There', 'Show You The Way To Go', 'Can You Feel It','Rock With You, ' 'She's Out Of My Life', 'Thriller', 'Beat It', 'Ben', 'ABC', 'Man in the Mirror', 'Dirty Diana', 'Billie Jean', 'Earth Song', and many, many more.
