Mark Gatiss will lend his voice to a character in the upcoming world premiere of Dark Sublime at Trafalgar Studio Two.

Dark Sublime is a science-fiction inspired play that tells the story of Oli, a previous sci-fi icon who just wants to make a friend. When he meets Marianne, an actress who is looking for her big break, the pair begin to learn more about each other in their own time and spaces.

Gatiss will provide the voice for the role of Kosley, a talking computer. Nominated for an Olivier Award for best actor in a supporting role in 2014 for his performance as Menenius in Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse, Gatiss has appeared in numerous productions across the country, most recently starring in a revival of The Madness of George III at Nottingham Playhouse.

He is perhaps best known for appearing in the comedy television series A League of Gentlemen alongside Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Jeremy Dyson.

Gatiss joins a cast including Marina Sirtis as Marianne, who rose to fame playing Counselor Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Dark Sublime is the debut play written by Michael Dennis, who has previously written for an episode of the 2017 television series Queers, with the series overseen by Gatiss.

Dark Sublime is at Trafalgar Studio Two on 25th June.

Dark Sublime tickets are available now.
