Mazz Murray to play Donna in Mamma Mia at the Novello Theatre

New casting has been announced for Mamma Mia at the Novello Theatre, as the musical enters its 21st year in the West End.

Mazz Murray will return to the production to play Donna, previously playing Tanya from 2015 to 2017. Recently playing Mama Morton in the West End revival of Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre, Murray's previous theatre credits include We Will Rock You as the Killer Queen and Maureen in Rent.

Further casting announcements include Kirsty Hoiles as Tanya from, Cameron Burt as Sky, Melissa Nettleford as Ali, Sophie Matthew as Lisa, Taylor Bradshaw as Eddie and Danny Nattrass as Pepper. 

Lucy May Barker will continue to play Sophie Sheridan, recently taking over the role after a cast member withdrew from the production due to ill health. Ricky Butt stays as Rosie, Richard Trinder as Sam, Neil Moors as Harry and Stephen Beckett as Bill.

The cast will be completed by Natasha Agnew, Daniel Clift, Jonathan Cordin, Amelia-Rose Fielding, Shailan Gohil, Callum Heinrich, Frankie Jones, Grace Moorhouse, Jodie Nolan, Dan O'Brien, David O'Mahony, Rochelle Sherona, Megan Speirs, Garrett Tennant, Michael Tyler, Harrison Wilde and Simon Willmont, alongside Chloe Ames, Lauren Hampton and Jennifer Hepburn who currently appear in the production.

The new cast will join Mamma Mia at the Novello Theatre from 10th June, with the current company playing their final performance on 8th June.

Mamma Mia follows Sophie Sheridan as she searches to find her father, with a soundtrack of ABBA hits including "Dancing Queen", "One of Us" and "Super Trouper". After opening at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6th April 1999, the production has been staged in three West End theatres and recently celebrated its 20th birthday.

Mamma Mia is at the Novello Theatre, currently booking to 7th March 2020.
