Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry announce their final dates in 'The Devil Wears Prada'

Based on Lauren Weisberger's best-selling 2003 novel and the 2006 film, The Devil Wears Prada follows fish-out-of-water aspiring journalist Andy as she takes up an assistant position at fashion magazine Runway.

Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry will end their reign at The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre in the West End later this year.

Williams, who has been playing editor in chief Miranda Priestly since the show's London premiere, will complete her run on 19 September, while Henry (as Runway creative fashion director Nigel) stays with the show through 17 October.

The new performers taking over the roles will be announced in due course.

Based on Lauren Weisberger's best-selling 2003 novel and the 2006 film, The Devil Wears Prada follows fish-out-of-water aspiring journalist Andy as she takes up an assistant position at fashion magazine Runway. She is given a crash course in the high stakes world of fashion when she begins working for the formidable Miranda Priestly.

The full cast includes Stevie Doc (winner of ITV’s Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream) as Andy, with Taila Halford (Shucked, School of Rock) as Emily, Keelan McAuley (Clueless, Heathers) as Nate, and Dominic Andersen (Heathers, The Rocky Horror Picture Show) as Christian.

The ensemble are Gabby Antrobus, Georgia Aspinall, Anta Bah, Selena Barron, Evonnee Bentley-Holder, Pamela Blair, Jenna Bonner, Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Lloyd Davies, Jinny Gold, Selina Hamilton, Kimberley Hoyle, Luke Jackson, Emma Johnson, Justin-Lee Jones, Debbie Kurup, Mark Lamb, Ethan Le Phong, Brandon Lee Sears, Nathan Lorainey-Dineen, Dean Makowski-Clayton, Shannon Molloy, Eleanor Peach, Joshua Robinson, Joshua Steel, Kayleigh Thadani, Harry Tunningley, Alex Woodward, and Tara Yasmin.

The show opened in the West End in December 2024, and has become the fastest‑selling show in the Dominion Theatre’s history.

The creative team led by Elton John includes direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, book by Kate Wetherhead, set design by Tim Hatley, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Bruno Poet, and sound design by Gareth Owen.
