Rory Kinnear, Anna Maxwell Martin, Ben Miles have been cast in William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, which opens at the off West End Venue, Almeida Theatre 18 Feb 2010, following previews from 11 Feb - running to 10 April 2010.

Public Booking opens 12 Nov 2009.

It is directed by Michael Attenborough, designed by Lez Brotherston, lighting by David Hersey, sound by John Leonard.

Rory Kinnear's many National Theatre credits include "Burnt by the Sun", "The Revenger's Tragedy", "Southwark Fair", "Man of Mode" and "Philistines". He will also play Hamlet at the National Theatre in late 2010.

Anna Maxwell Martin's London stage credits includes: "Female of the Species" at the Vaudeville in 2008; "Cabaret" at the Lyric in 2006; "Dumb Show" at the Royal Court in 2004; "His Dark Materials" at the Olivier, NT in 2003/2004; "Three Sisters" at the Lyttelton, NT in 2003; "Honour" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2003; "The Coast of Utopia" at the Olivier, NT in 2002; "Little Foxes" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2001.

Ben Miles was last on stage in "The Norman Conquests" both at the Old Vic and on Broadway. His other theatre credits include "My Child" for the Royal Court, Bollingbroke in "Richard II" for the Old Vic, "The Cherry Orchard", "The London Cuckolds" and "Mary Stuart" for the National Theatre and "Two Gentlemen of Verona", "Hamlet", "Romeo and Juliet" for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Set in a Vienna dominated by the sex trade. A play of political intrigue and moral responsibility, Vincentio, the Duke, seeks to return order to his city. He announces that he is to travel abroad and appoints the strait laced Angelo in his place. Vincentio secretly disguises himself as a friar to keep a watchful eye on the new regime. When Isabella, a novice nun, finds her brother is sentenced to death for a sexual misdemeanour she visits Angelo to beg for his life.
