Milly Thomas’ Dust to transfer to Trafalgar Studios

Milly Thomas' one-woman on mental health Dust is set to transfer to Trafalgar Studios following a successful run at the Soho Theatre earlier this year.

The piece looks at the mental health of one woman, Alice, who is already dead and tells her story as a ghost waking up in a morgue. She looks back on her life, but also watches as her family and friends mourn her after she has taken her own life.

In a five-star review of the production for LondonTheatre.co.uk, Georgina Varley said: 'Equally as emotionally devastating as it is hilarious, Dust is an extremely human account of mental illness.' Click here to read the full review.

Dust will run at Trafalgar Studios from 4th September to 13th October, with an official opening night on 7th September. Tickets will go on sale soon.

Directed by Sara Joyce (The Scar Test), the piece debuted at Edinburgh Festive Fringe in 2017 before opening in London.

Thomas' other writing credits include Clickbait and A First World Problem (Theatre503), and Brutal Cessation. As an actor, she has appeared in Cargo (Arcola Theatre), Dry Land (Jermyn Street) and Quacks (BBC Two).

On the news of the transfer, Thomas said: 'Knowing that I'll be back in the bodysuit soon has filled me with joy and I can't wait to share Dust and Alice's story with a whole new audience and take our journey further.'

Dust is at Trafalgar Studios from 4th September to 13th October.
