Paul Boyd's musical comedy Molly Wobbly will run at the Lounge at Leicester Square Theatre from 27 January to 14 March 2015.
Paul Boyd also directs the show, which has set design by Diego Pitarch, choreography by Sarah Johnston, lighting by Tom Kitney and musical direction by Matthew Reeve. Produced by Martin Witts & Lesley Ackland for Leicester Square Theatre by arrangement with PBM.
Synopsis: "Margaret, Ruth, and Jemma are desperate - trapped in loveless marriages and stuck with failing businesses. There is only one person who can help them - a woman they’ve never met: Molly Wobbly... One by one, the ladies receive unexpected makeovers after a stranger arrives on Mammary Lane ..."
Molly Wobbly premiered in 2011 as a staged concert at Belfast’s Lyric Theatre. The following year, a festival-scale production opened at the same venue, followed by a run at the Assembly Rooms throughout the Edinburgh Fringe. In 2014, the show was presented as a staged concert at the Phoenix Artist Club in London.
