Nativity the Musical to return to London in 2018

The musical adaptation of Nativity will return to London in 2018 following its run at the Eventim Apollo this December. 

Daniel Boys and Simon Lipkin star in the production which is an adaptation of the X film starring Martin Freeman. It tells the story of a primary school teacher who heads into competition to put on a better nativity play than a rival school. 

The current production features The X Factor judge Louis Walsh making his stage debut as a Hollywood producer. 

Nativity the Musical will run in London from 13th to 17th December 2017, and will return to the Eventim Apollo from 19th to 31st December 2018. It will also tour venues across the UK in cities including Coventry, Liverpool, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Oxford. 

Debbie Isitt, the creator of the film series, has written and directed the stage musical for which she has also written the music and lyrics with Nicky Ager. 

Isis said: "I am so proud of this fantastic musical we created for 2017 and the extremely talented cast that brought this show to life." 

Nativity the Musical has choreography by Andrew Wright, designs by David Woodhead, lighting by Tim Mitchell, sound by Tom Marshall and musical supervision and orchestrations by George Dyer.

Casting for the 2018 run is yet to be announced. 

Nativity is at the Eventim Apollo from 13th to 17th December 2017, and will return to the venue in December 2018.
