Natural Affection to play Jermyn Street Theatre

House on The Hill Productions, in association with the Jermyn Street Theatre, will present the UK premiere of William Inge's 1962 Drama Natural Affection, directed by Grace Wessels, beginning previews on 15 Jul 2014, officially opening on 17 Jul and continuing its limited run to 09 Aug 2014.

Synopsis: 'Christmas 1962, Chicago, small apartment... Unconventional couple, Sue and Bernie, are awaiting the impending visit of Sue's delinquent son Donnie with excitement and trepidation. When Donnie makes an unexpected announcement, tensions between the already strained family relationships grow and competition between the two men threatens to destroy the life that Sue has worked so hard to create. On Christmas Eve when the next-door neighbours join the party, tensions escalate resulting in an inescapable and horrific showdown.'

The creative team behind Natural Affection features scenic design by Victoria Johnstone, costumes by Emily Stuart and lighting design by Steve Lowe.
