New cast announced for Hamilton in the West End

A new cast has been announced for the West End production of Hamilton, currently at the Victoria Palace Theatre. The new cast will begin performances from 18th November, with an extended booking period to 28th March 2020.

Currently starring as the alternate Alexander Hamilton, Karl Queensborough will take over the role of Alexander Hamilton. Allyson Ava-Brown and Jason Pennycooke will continue as Angelica Schuyler and Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson respectively.

The Schuyler sisters will be completed by Sharon Rose as Eliza Hamilton and Emilie Louise Israel as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds. Simon-Anthony Roden will take over the role of Aaron Burr, with Trevor Dion Nicholas as George Washington, Emile Ruddock as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison and Carl Spencer as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. Nuno Queimado will play the role of Alexander Hamilton at certain performances.

From 4th November, Gavin Spokes will take over the role of King George III from Jon Robyns.

The cast is completed by Jade Albertsen, Curtis Angus, Robson Broad, Ashley Daniels, Lisa Darnell, Kelly Downing, Lydia Fraser, Dujonna Gift-Simms, Manaia Glassey-Ohlson, Joe Griffiths-Brown, Gregory Haney, Peter Houston, Barney Hudson, DeAngelo Jones, Jake Halsey-Jones, Phoebe Liberty Jones, Travis Kerry, Natasha Leaver, Aaron Lee Lambert, Sinead Long, Louis Mackrodt, Jay Perry, Alexzandra Sarmiento and Lindsey Tierney.

Hamilton tells the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton in a sung-through musical with an original book, music and lyrics by Lin Manuel-Miranda. Opening at the Victoria Palace Theatre from December 2017, Hamilton won seven Olivier Awards from 13 nominations.

Hamilton is at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
