NYMT presents Sweeney Todd at Village Underground

The National Youth Music Theatre presents Sweeney Todd, , at Village Underground, in Shoreditch, in east London, from 3 to 6 Aug 2010.

Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, from an adaptation by Christopher Bond with book by Hugh Wheeler.

Directed by Martin Constantine, designed by Mark Friend, lighting by Jonny Milmer. Musical director is Jeremy Walker.

After fifteen years in exile, barber Benjamin Barker returns to London with a new name - Sweeney Todd - and a desire for vengeance. He hunts the man responsible for his misery, Judge Turpin, and soon discovers his old landlady, the pie maker Mrs Lovett, on the trail.....
